Ingredients
1 cup Peeled potatoes (cubed)
1 Egg
2 tablespoons Olive oil
Salt to taste
1/4 teaspoon Ground allspice
1/4 teaspoon Sumac (optional)
Bread for serving (preferably pita bread)
Optional mix-in & topping suggestions include:
Sliced green onions
Cheese
Hot sauce

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Put the olive oil into a pot over medium heat. Add the potato cubes and gently toss them to ensure they're coated in the oil. Cook them over medium-low heat until they are slightly golden.
  2. Clear a space in the middle of the potato cubes and add the egg, salt, allspice, and the sumac (if using).
  3. Gently stir the ingredients together, then cover the pot and let cook for 3 to 4 minutes, then serve.
